Who is eligible?

Entrant must be a naturally born, genetic female. Delegates must be between the ages of 18 and 26 Delegates must be 18 by the first day of the National Competition and must not turn 26 as of the first date of the Miss International competition.

What is a Casting Call?

The Casting Call concept was devised to keep costs low for the organizer, passing on the savings to the delegate. Delegates should not expect a full blown production scale. These are usually conducted in a hotel meeting room with no stage and no lighting. Music during the competition is provided and will be judged before a qualified judge(s). These events typically only last three hours.

What if there is no Casting Call scheduled for my state?

You must enter the national pageant directly and pay the fee. We are trying to organize Casting Calls in all of the states, but it takes time to roll it out nationally.

What if I don't want to compete in a Casting Call and just want to pay for the state title?

Those who do not wish to compete in a Casting Call, can pay for the state title directly. The fee for the direct entry will be explained in the paperwork. Contact the Director for more information.

If I paid my fee for a Casting Call and someone pays for the state title, will I be issued a refund?

YES. the only time a fee is NON-REFUNDABLE if you pay your entrance fee and do not show up for the event (for ANY reason), or compete in the event. If we award the state title to someone else, you will be issued a FULL refund.

Is there an entry fee?

We regret that we must charge an entry fee. Entries MUST BE received more than 30 days prior to the Casting Call event, the entry fee into casting events is $250.00. Please see specific state pages for deadlines on payments. We NO LONGER accept entries up until the day of the event. You must enter by the deadline for the event.

 

 

Are there any other costs at the Casting Call event?

No. There are ticket sales for spectators of the pageant that will be $10.00 per person. There are no discounts for Senior Citizens or children.

If I win a Casting Call event are there other fees expected of me at the National pageant?

Yes. All casting call winners will be required to purchase a one full page COLOR advertisement or two black and white advertisements for the national program book. This cost is $200.00 and can be covered by sponsors. They will also be required to purchase a rhinestonned shirt for an appearance.

Is there a no-compete clause for this pageant?

No. we only require state and regional titleholders who win a casting call to compete at the National Pageant and come back to crown their successor, you are free to compete in other pageants if you wish. Any titles you compete for must allow you to compete at the national pageant. Dates are listed in the paperwork, so nothing is a surprise or excuse. The national titleholder is bound by a no-compete clause.

What kind of prizes can I win?

The prize package depends on the number of entrants for your state title. The following will be a guide of the prize package:

State titles with 1-5 entrants will receive: a crown, rhinestonned sash, entry into the national pageant paid and a photography CD by the national photographer.

State titles with 6-10 entrants will also receive: their airfare paid (up to $250.00, this will be in the form of a gift card issued by an airline).

State titles with 11-15 entrants will also receive: their luggage fees paid to the national pageant (up to 2 bags).

State titles with 16-20 entrants will also receive: $250.00 towards their hotel paid.

State titles with 21-25 entrants will also receive: autograph cards and business cards.

Regional titles are only awarded Entry into the national pageant, crown, sash, CD photo package of the National Pageant.

What does the remainder of my entry fee pay for?

Entry Fees to Casting Call events pay for Director's travel and any expenses incurred to hold the Casting Call Event.

What will I be scored in?

Miss U.S. International delegates will be scored in three categories at the casting call events: 45% Swimwear, 45% Evening Wear and 10% Interview.

May I seek a sponsor?

You may seek sponsors or you may pay the entry fee yourself. There wil not be a program book produced at this event. You will have to recognize your sponsors in another way.

Is there a deadline to enter the state pageant?

Yes. You must pay you entire entry fee 30 days from the date of the scheduled casting call. The deadline date is in your packet.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Payment may be made by personal check, money order, or credit card via PayPal online to Britt@HarrisonProductions.com. PayPal payments must include the 2.7% service fee that PayPal assesses. Checks & Money Orders should be made payable to the address indicated on the Registration Form.

Is a payment plan available?

No. Because of the low cost of entry into the pageant, we must have payment in full.

If I am unable to compete, will I be issued a refund or a credit?

All fees paid to Miss U.S. International are NOT REFUNDABLE in full or in part for under any circumstances. This includes entry fees, advertising fees, pageant admission tickets and any other fees paid to Harrison Productions, L.L.C.
